Raicho Supper Club is excited to welcome Pete Denhart as our chef in residence, who has composed an enticing menu for our guests. A member of England’s culinary new wave, he showcases Nagano local ingredients with woodfired meats, crisp vegetable flavours, and delightful interpretations of familiar favourites. Enjoy wine and sake by the fireplace as a prelude to your meal. Reservations preferred.

Best dinning experience I had in Madarao in a nice atmosphere. Fusion cuisine flavored with local ingredients prepared in a wood fire (chicken and broccoli were my favorite). I finished the night having dessert and drinks by the fire 👌

The best restaurant we came across on the mountain. The ambiance is nice with the open fire, and relaxed atmosphere for families. The food is outstanding, with the smoked and charcoal flavours... significantly above the alpine restaurant standard.

Truely the best dining experience in Madarao. Featuring guest chefs from around the world focusing on local ingredients sourced from within the local valley. The Wagyu steak and, surprisingly for me a meat eater, the vegan dishes are great as well!! Could ratty the desserts all day. Credit card was accepted which is a nice change for a ski town.

Really excellent food, great service and family friendly atmosphere. Word is starting to get around, so best to book ahead. They do accept walk-ins, but you might have to sit and have a pre-dinner drink at the fireplace if they're full (not that that's such a bad thing!)

We were a large group and took the set menu - one of the best meals I’ve had in Japan. Every plate was delicious, a diversity of flavours and fabulous combinations of taste and textures. The ambience of the restaurant was perfection with our children who were happily entertained with all the games and toys whilst we enjoyed our meal. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Madarao! Compliments to the chef!
